Matthew Williamson, Blair Waldorf & Gossip Girl!!

I don't know if you are gossip girl fans but i am a follower of the show and if i should do a woman collection i will base it on Blair Waldorf's style, i love her eccentric coloured pantyhose (Electric blue, Yellow, red) her coats and her Christian Louboutin shoes; and i'd like to see more girls with the sense of style of that character here in italy but we're not in London, Paris or NY, here we're more bigoted!A girl dressed like that would have all the eyes on her, and not always in a positive sense!

We need to wait until september to see if Chuck Bass will be alive and if him & Blair will have a future togheter or how it's gone in Paris between Blair & Serena!

While we wondering that we Spotted someone i'm talking about the womanizer Chace Crawford (Nate Archibald) at the 20anni uomo.Dolce & Gabbana.


Coming back at the Blair Waldorf style i'd like to talk about the Matthew Williamson dress she was wearing in the 17th episode of the third season. In my opinion that drees was perfect, with all those inserctions in the chest, even the colour was good but i prefered the one next on the matthew Williamson website (Same Dress but in Pink/red- i post the pictures)!

Matthew Williamson is an english fashion designer.His collections often have an Indian influence, perhaps related to the time Williamson spent working in India for the clothing store Monsoon. He counts celebrities such as Bjork,Sienna Miller,Kelys, Jade Jagger and Plum Sykes amongst his friends, but has often been criticised by others in the fashion industry for using them to promote his designs. An investigation was launched against Mr. Williamson in the year 2008 for introducing two Ethiopian traditional costumes as his own in his Spring/Summer ’08 collections. This investigation is still pending.He is graduated at the Saint Martin School of arts, the same of Fashion designers like Alexander McQueen and John Galliano (and the same where i would like to do the master course)!

Of course i know that there is some costumists who wear her but however they do that very very very good!!

As i said i love her coat and especially the repertory of colours she uses!

Here it is my favourite look, i'd like to be me the designer who design all this good stuff! For me a woman dressed like this is absolutely perfect! She's hot (But you can leave this comment beside, obviously i'm a man ahaha)!!

Non so se seguite la serie Gossip Girl ma ogni Fashionista che si rispetti al deve seguire e io ovviamente sono uno di quelli, ed oltre che essere una fonte di ispirazione perchè è una serie veramente piena di vestiti è inoltre un paicevole modo per rilassarsi dopo il caos quotidiano!

La mia preferita è ovviamente Blair Waldorf (adoro le sue calze e i suoi cappotti eccentrici oltre che le sue Christian Louboutin), se un giorno dovessi creare una collezione donna la baserei sicuramente sulla sua figura! Mi piace la donna eccentrica che osa anche con colori fuori dagli schemi, ma so benissimo che qua in Italia o almeno a Firenze è difficile, sicuramente una ragazza vestita così avrebbe tutti gli occhi addosso e non sempre con intento positivo, siamo un pò troppo bigotti qua!

Insomma la terza stagione è finita e noi dovremo aspettare fino in autunno per vedere se Chuck sarà vivo e se riprenderà il rapporto con Blair o anche come è andata la vacanza delle due bellezze dell'upper east side insieme nela Ville Lumiere!

Intanto un altro personaggio della serie -specificamente Chace Crawford-(Nate Archibald) è stato avvistato ai 20 anni uomo di Dolce & Gabbana durante la settimana della moda a Milano!(Vi ho postato la foto sopra)!

Tornando allo stile di Blair Waldorf mi piacerebbe spendere qualche minuto parlando del vestito di Matthew Williamson che indossava nel 17imo episodio della terza serie! A mio avviso il vestito era perfetto, con tutte quelle inserzioni, perline e ricamature sul petto, anche il colore era bello ma preferivo di gran lunga la versione rosa-rosso che vi ho postato sopra!
E voi che ne pensate??Quale preferite??

A mio avviso è un validissimo stilista ed inoltre si è laureato alla Saint Martin School of arts dove in passato si sono laureati mostri sacri come Alexander MCQueen e sua maestà della moda mr.John Galliano!(e dove inoltre e lo dico con un pò di imbarazzo mi piacerebbe fare il master post-laurea).

Cosa interessante sopra ho messo le foto della vetrina di Matthew Williamsono a New York durante la settimana di trasmissione dell'episodio (gira voce che i 500 vestiti del prezzo di circa 1200 dollari destinati ad internet siano esauriti la sera stessa la trasmissione dell'episodio!

Potete vedere inoltre qualche look che mi è piaciuto tantissimo di Leighton Meester, soprattutto l'ultima foto che ho aggiunto che per me rappresenta l'essenza di come dovrebbe vestire una donna!!
